Imagine More Card

Here is another card that I created using the Imagine More Cards (IMC) Cricut Imagine Cartridge. For the base of the card, I used the Wild Cards Cricut Cartridge. I used the Doily card cut at 5.5 inches. I used the color pallet from the IMC cartridge to match the color of the layers. The images from the IMC were cut at 5 inches.

Here is a side view of the card. You can see the layers that are raised. I used dimensional foam tape to give it a little bit of lift. As always, I added some stickles to make the colors and the design pop.

Arrrgggh Matey!!!

Here is another layout I created using the Life's a Party Cricut Cartridge. This is a super easy layout to create. It's perfect for the beginner scrapbooker. The layers go together quickly and are very easy to layer.

I used the Map images from page 44 in the handbook. I cut the images on the Expression using the Fit-to-Page feature. I cut the base, base + shift, layer, layer + shift. I also used the treasure chest found on page 24. You could even add more cuts from page 34 and page 54.

Imagine That Blog Hop

Hi Everyone. Wow!!! Are you in for a treat. We have a fabulous line-up of ladies who have created some amazing projects with their Cricut Imagine machines. Sandra, our wonderful hostess, recently received her Imagine and thought it would be a great idea to have a hop to showcase some of the things that can be created on the Imagine.

You should have arrived here from Giselle's blog. If you just happened upon my blog, please stay and see what I have created for today's project. If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, please go to Sandra's site.

My first project is a card made from the Imagine More Cards cartridge. It's a Thank You card. I love the colors on it. To give it more of a designer pattern paper feel, I added my absolute favorite thing, Stickles. This card is cut at 4.5 inches.

My second project is another card made from the Imagine More Cards cartridge. It's a square card that measures at 5.5 by 5.5. The base card is pink cardstock by Stampin' Up. The mat and all the layers were cut at 5 inches. The snail is actually on an action wobble. (My camera needs to be charged) I just love the action wobbles. Once again, I have added some Stickles for some bling.

Festive Friday Blog Hop

Welcome to another edition of the Festive Friday Blog Hop. This is our sixth week of hopping. I hope you are joining in and creating some Christmas cards. If you are, please send me a link or a picture of what you created. I would love to see them.

My project today is a 5.5 by 5.5 inch square card. Super simple to make. I cut a sheet of regular cardstock to 11 by 5.5 inches and folded it in half to make a square card base. I cut another piece of carstock at 5 by 5 inches to act as a mat. The image was printed and cut from the Snow Angels Cricut Imagine cartridge. I cut it at 4.75 by 4.75 inches. I adhered it to the mat using pop dots. I added a little bit of stickles to give it a little glittery effect.

Lucky Charm Blog Hop

Welcome to my Blog and help me celebrate my BIRTHDAY today by following along in the Lucky Charm Blog Hop. To start at the beginning of the hop you would need to go to  Giselle's blog. This blog hop is all about creating something for the lucky charm in your life. You should have arrived here from Kim's site.

I used the Cricut Imagine today to design my project. I used the Imagine More Cards cartridge. It has tons of images to make all different types of super cute projects.

My card is an A2 sized card. I used the stock images (rectangle sized at 8.5 by 11) located on the Imagine and "flood filled" it with a yellow-green patterned paper. I chose the Good Luck card and I cut out the images at 4 inches. I wanted the card to have a lot of dimension, so I used the layers feature which broke the images into separate layers. I used pop dots or dimensional tape to give the image a lift. I used Diamond Stickles on the background paper to give it a little sparkle.

You can see the different layers on the card.

It's All About The Green - Day 2

Hi everyone. Welcome back to our second day of It's All About the Green Blog Hop. I want to thank everyone who stopped by yesterday and left all of those wonderful comments. I truly, truly appreciate them.

If you are here for the Blog Hop then you are in the right place! If you are just visiting my blog and would like to join in on all of the fun, please be sure to visit Kathryn to start at the beginning of the hop. You should have arrived here from Lissa's site. After your stay here you will be going to Tina's site.

For my project today, I created a scrapbook layout. This has to be one of the easiest layouts to do. If anyone has not made one before, then I highly recommend the 3 Birds - Life's a Party cartridge. It is one of the newer cartridges that was released. Inside, there are several pages that have layouts. All you need to do is choose the size layout you want. I chose to cut this one out at 8 inches (with the exception of the photo mats). It is super easy to layer and if you want to add embellishments, great. If not, you still have a wonderful foolproof layout.

(Be sure to check back. I will be showcasing some of the other layouts too.)

Supplies Used:
3 Birds - Life's a Party Cricut Cartridge
Recollections Paper - Green, Brown, Yellow
DCWV Safari Stack
Printed Ribbon

This is the second day of the hop, so if you missed any of the fun yesterday, scroll down to see the project I made. We have a terrific group of ladies who have put together some amazing projects to give you some inspiration in your crafting, so be sure to check out their projects as well.

And what a blog hop be without a little Blog Candy. I am giving away the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. Since this is a 2 day hop, you will have 2 chances to win. Leave me a comment below and let me know what you plan to make with this cartridge. I will let Random.org chose a winner on Tuesday. So everyone has until Monday night to leave me a comment. I would love it if you became a follower, but it is not necessary. Please leave a way for me to contact you.
