I am one of the lucky persons who was chosen to be a Beta Tester for the Imagine App on the Gypsy. I'm not sure what the finished application will look like, however, I will post some pictures of the Gypsy screen tomorrow on another post.
Here is a birthday card I designed on my Gypsy using the Yummy Imagine cartridge. It is was so much fun to make. The only cartridge used was the Yummy cartridge. Even though some people think the images are flat or dull, with the addition of some glossy accents, glitter, or some other embellishments you can jazz up your die cuts as much as you want.
I used the I-Rock to attach some gems to the mini starbursts that are on the pattern paper. I added glossy accents to the letters in "Make a Wish", the swirls on the cupcake wrapper and also to the sprinkles and cherry.

Distress Ink Fire Brick Red

George & Basic Shapes Cartridge
Love Struck 2010 Cartridge
I don't remember where I received the pattern for the tissue box cover. I used the Gypsy to cut out the shapes of the tissue box.

After the tissue box was put together, I inked the whole box with the Distress Ink in fire Brick Red. I used a little more ink along the edges of the box.
I used the seasonal cartridge Love Struck for the images. I cut the background of the image with white and red cardstock and the intricate layer was cut out using red cardstock. After I cut out the background layer in red, I glued it to the box and I used pop dots to adhere the other layers to the box. Using the red background layer gave the image definition. I think it came together nicely.
I used White Opal Liquid Pearls on the images. I used the Ruby Red Liquid Pearls on the corners of the box.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Now on to All Things Crafty site.

New Year's Day Blog Hop
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
I hope 2010 was a good year for you and I hope 2011 will be even better. Today I am hosting the New Year's Day Blog Hop. If you are here for the hop then you are in the right place. This is the starting point for the hop and if you get lost along the way, you can come back here and I will help you find your way. I have a complete list of all of the participating blogs.
There are 18 wonderful ladies participating in today's hop. They have worked hard to showcase some amazing projects so please be sure to visit everyone. They would love to see your comments. Your next stop after leaving here is Clare of Cricut Crafty Clare.
My project today is a set of picture frames. I used the Happy Hauntings Cartridge as well as the Martha Stewart's All Occasions Cake Art Cartridge. This project came together very fast.
First I cut the pieces of the frame from the Happy Hauntings cartridge. Everything was cut at 7.5 inches. To make the frame sturdier, I cut the pieces out of chipboard first and then I cut out and covered the chipboard with paper. The phrase and the numbers were cut from Martha Stewart's cartridge. I stamped the top of the frame with the Perfect Pearls medium and then dusted it with gold Perfect Pearls Powder. To set the powder, you have to lightly mist it with water.
