Stampin' Up! - Flourishing Phrases - Thank You Card

This is such a quick and easy card that comes together in no time at all. I used an oldie but goodie stamp set, Flourishing Phrases. It's a must have for your collection. There are several sentiments that can be used for different occasions.

Carousel Birthday Card

I love the retro feel of the Carousel Birthday stamp set. It gives the feeling of a Circus with the elements of the Ferris Wheel and the Merry-Go-Round Horse. It's a versatile set that I can get many uses out of...

Watch the video below to see how I created this card.

Floral Phrases Congratulations Cards

I love this bundle from Stampin' Up! The card may look hard to create however it is so easy and can be made within minutes. The first is made with basic cardstock however the second card I amped it up by using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for lots of sparkle.

These cards measure 4.25 x 5.5. I cut a sheet of paper in half using the Stampin' Trimmer and folded in half, that is the base of the card. I cut the design out using the Big Shot and the Detailed Floral Thinlit which is part of the bundle. I glued it to the card base, stamped a sentiment and added a few Rhinestones for added bling. Easy Peasy...

You can download the list of supplies I used to make the card below. If you want to order, please click on the images below. It will take you to my online store where you can shop 24/7.

Thanks so much and come back for more inspiration.

More Happy Mail from Create & Craft

Look what I found in my mailbox yesterday. It is a card that I won from Dawn Wheeler on Create & Craft USA.

Unbeknownst to me, Jinger had just mentioned my name as someone who had previously won a card. I had missed that portion of the show. I sent an email and they laughed because they had just mentioned me. At the end of the show they chose my name from the "cup of chance" and I won this card.

Check out the video below.

Birthday Card for a Friend

Well there is no happy mail today but I have been back in the craft room. This is a birthday card that I created for a very good friend. Purple is her favorite color as well as butterflies.

I used materials from Create & Craft USA. They had a great deal on specialty card stock. The designs as well as butterflies were created from dies by Sue Wilson of Creative Expression. I had so much fun making this card and it was super easy to create.

Happy Mail from Create & Craft USA

I sent an email to Jinger Adams and guest Nikki Payne of Create and Craft USA. They read my email on air and I even won the beautiful card that Nikki made on the show. It looks so pretty in person.

Happy Birthday Card

This month is the first month that I joined the Stamps of Life Card Kit Club. And I must say that I love it. The kit is packed with just about everything you will need to make several cute cards. This month’s theme is “Happy”.

I made a few changes to the sample card idea that was included in the kit. I added an extra layer to the birthday card that I made.

Materials used:

Paper Cutz Challenge 4

Here is another card I made for my first try at a challenge. This is for the Paper Cutz Challenge 4. The challenge is to make a card without using the colors orange and black. Not as easy as you might think. I used lime green and purple cardstock along with a patterned paper, Martha Stewart punch and a mummy from the cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up.

Halloween notecard

Here is a 3 x 3 note card i made. It was so much fun. The vampire is a brad that I found online.
