Grad Bash Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Grad Bash Blog Hop. I'm so glad you are joining us on this journey to celebrate the Graduate in your life. This hop is being hosted by Giselle and Nadia. If you were just passing by my site, please stay and look around. If you would like to see all of the wonderful creations, please go to Nadia's  to start at the beginning of the hop.

My project is a Mini Matchbook Album. I decided to celebrate some of the smaller graduates out there. This album could be used to celebrate a  Kindergarten graduation. I used a lot of bold, bright primary colors in this album.

The finished album measures 3.5 by 5. The inside mats measure 3.25 by 3. It is a nice size for a small photo album. there are 10 pages that can hold photos or journaling. Also, the back of the mat could also be used for photos or journaling.

Cricut Imagine All Wrapped Up

Hi Everyone... Here is another cute project from the All Wrapped Up Imagine Cartridge. I said it before, this is one of my all time favorite cartridges. I love all of the bold and bright colors that are on this cartridge.

This cute little box was very easy to create. Two 12x12 sheets of white cardstock were transformed into this cute little gift box. The actual measurements of the cut-outs were 10.5 inches. You could probable make it a little bit bigger.

I am filling this box with a set of my Home Fragrance Oils. This would make a very cute Mother's Day gift.

Keeping the Peace Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, Welcome to Keeping the Peace Blog Hop. This hop is hosted my Adri of MacherieCreations.  You should have arrived here from Kelsey's site. If you are just visiting my site, please stay and see what I have created. If you want to start at the beginning, please go to Adri's site.

Since yesterday was Earth Day, I decided to combine the two occasions. I created this card on my Gypsy. I used the Give a Hoot cartridge and the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine cartridge. I took two heart shaped "Earth" reversed the shapes and welded them together to create a shaped card. I then used the Enjoy the Seasons to print a pattern for the inside. I also used the same cartridge to create the pattern paper for the "Earth" layers. These pieces were cute at 4 inches.

On the inside of the card, I used the shadow feature as well as the regular cut for the phrase. Both of these cuts were printed with the pattern paper and then cut on the Imagine. These cuts measure 2 inches. After that, it was super easy to put together.

I used a stamp from the "Go Green" set from Pink by Design. I also used Glossy Accents to create a water effect.

This card started out a simple white cardstock. I used the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine Cartridge to create all of the pattern paper.

Here is the complete list of participants just in case you get lost along the way.

Mother's Day Layout

I had the pleasure of being the guest designer on the Tuesday Treats Blog hosted by Pam. I wanted to share my project with everyone here, so here it is...

For my project this year, I made a layout. It is inspired from the Cricut "Ultimate Creative Series - Scrapbooking for Everyone" dvd, Mother's Day Layout. I absolutely love the series, it is chocked full of great ideas.

I used the Gypsy to make this project, but it is not necessary. The project can be made just using the Expression or the Imagine. I chose to use the Imagine since I didn't have any of the papers on hand. Using the Imagine pattern cartridges makes it so easy. You have all of the papers you could ever want.

Using the Audrey Imagine cartridge I printed a whole sheet of the black and white pattern paper.

Using the Imagine More Cards Imagine Art cartridge I printed a whole sheet of the pink pattern paper.

Using the Ultimate Creative Series cartridge (Bonus 2) I cut the large Filigree at 4 inches in black and the 2 smaller Filigrees at 3 inches in black. I also cut the phrase Mom at 3 inches in white. Don't worry if you don't have the Ultimate Creative Series, all of these cuts are also on the Mother's Day 2010 Seasonal Cartridge.

Using the Elegant Edges Circut cartridge I cut a swirly frame at 7.5 inches in gray.

Once everything was cut. It was time to assemble it.

And the finished layout...

That's my project. Thanks for taking the time to view it and I hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to leave me a comment. I would love to hear what you think.

Cricut Imagine All Wrapped Up

Hi Everyone... I just got the All Wrapped Up cartridge and I just had to make something out of it. I can tell that this cartridge is going to be one of my all time favorites. I just love all of the colors and the patterns. The colors are beautiful and bright. I will definitely be using the patterns and the solid colors for a lot of my projects. This will save me the time trying to find coordinating colors for my projects.

It was hard to make up my mind on what the first thing I should make. I decided on this cute card. Can we say easy? EASY!!!!!!!!! You have the choice of printing and cutting the card and layers as one cut or you can layer the pieces. I decided to layer. The final card measure 5 x 7. I added a few stickles to bring a wee bit of bling to the card, but it doesn't really need it. Can you believe it? This card was made with just 2 sheets of plain white cardstock.

Make sure you check it out. This cartridge is full of cards, tags, and boxes along with some very useful phrases.

Easter Eggstravaganza Blog Hop

Welcome to my Blog and the Easter Eggstravaganza Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Donna's blog, you're in the right place. If you were just looking at my blog and want to play along with our blog hopping fun, you can start at the beginning at Nadia's site. This blog hop is all about creating something sweet for your Easter celebrations. We hope you find inspirations and plenty of ideas to spice up your holiday :)

For my project I made a pillow box filled with "sweet tarts". While they look good enough to eat and smell god enough to eat, please do not eat them. The sweet tarts are not edible. They are soy tarts that you place in a oil burner or warmer and once the warmer is turned on, the fragrance is released in the air. They are colored in spring pastel colors and are scented in a super yummy Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper scent.

I used the Cricut Imagine to create all of the projects. I used the Easter 2010 Cartridge and filled in the cut with patterns from the Nursery Tails Cartridge. The small bunny cut out on the pillow box was covered with clear transparency. The card was made from the Spring Holiday Cards Cartridge and also filled in with patterns from the Nursery Tails Cartridge.

Now for the blog candy. I will be giving away a variety sampler pack of my Soy Donuts Melts. Each will come individually wrapped. The donuts will come in a variety of scents perfect for the spring time. These are wax tarts that can be used in a tart warmer or burner.

In order to win, leave me a comment below. I will let Random.org chose a winner on Monday. I would love it if you became a follower, but it is not necessary. Please leave a way for me to contact you.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Thank you for visiting my blog. Your next stop is Jennifer's blog. Below is a list of all blog participants in case you get lost:

Festive Friday Blog Hop

Welcome back for another installment of our Festive Friday blog Hop. I can't believe that this is the 7th week of hopping. Time is going by so fast. Christmas will be here before you know it. I hope you will consider joining us in our quest to acquire a stash of Christmas cards and avoid the rush of trying to make them later on.

I made 2 shaped cards for my project today. I decided to use the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. If you have this cartridge, they are super easy and quick to make. I used the card feature to cut the shape of the card. Next, I used the base and layers feature to create the front of the card. Easy Peasy!!!

The first card I created is Hello Kitty Santa. She is super cute dressed in her red and green. I added Diamond Stickles to her ball and brim of her hat and also to the small balls on her shoes. I added Patina Stickles to her top.

The second card I designed is a cute little Christmas Tree with sparkly presents (love those Stickles in Yellow & Patina). I decorated the tree with Liquid Pearls in Gold, Emerald Green, & Ruby Red.

April Showers Blog Hop Day 2

 Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the second day of the April Showers Blog Hop. This was a two day hop so be sure to check out the projects we created yesterday if you didn't get a chance to view them. You should have arrived here from Karel's blog. If you are visiting my site, please stay and enjoy. If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, you can do so by visiting our wonderful hostess Kathryn's blog.

For my project today, I decided to create a mini album. It is also known as a Maze Album. It is really easy and fun to create. The finished book will measure 3.25 by 3.25. One sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock is cut and folded to produce the album. Normally, I wouldn't add a mat, but the mats are made from patterned paper which is very thin and didn't add bulk to the book. I used 2 pieces of Chipboard to make the album covers.

I decided not to add too many embellishments on the album. If I had added a lot more embellishments, it would be very hard to keep the book closed. I created 4 tags that are tucked in the top of the album and they can be used for journaling.
