Hi Everyone...
Well by now you may have heard that the Cricut Explore has added the newest feature of Print then Cut. I am super excited for this because I have tons of cartridges that I don't want to get rid of. I can now cut my images the regular way or customize them by changing the color if I want and then print them out and then cut them out.
I love, love, love having that option. Provocraft has also added to the account of Imagine owners the contents of those cartridges or us to use. I'm super excited to cut some of those images as well.
I just wanted to show you a couple of the cuts that I did as a test cut. These were random images that I chose to use. It was so easy. Once I chose the images, I sized them to approximately 3 inches each. I used the new feature "flatten" to make all of the piece weld together to form one image. I sent it to my printer and then cut them out. I see that I will be using this feature a lot in the future.
Check back for more projects. Halloween is one of my favorite so I will be posting some projects soon..

Cricut Explore
Here is my first test cut with the new Cricut Explore. It's a new die cutting machine from Provocraft.
It cuts like butter. Very quiet and I love the writing feature.

"Present" Mini Album
Well I have another mini album to show you today. This album is from a tutorial by Kathy Orta-Files. I love the way this turned out. It measures 8 x 5 and has tons of space for pictures. The top of the present pulls out to reveal an accordion fold page. You could fit up to 6 full size pictures on each pullout.
The possibilities for this are almost endless. I think I will change the papers to a birthday theme. I'm also thinking about using it with a baby theme or even as an album for Mother's Day.

Happy New Year 2014!
Well another year has come and gone. Overall 2013 was a good year and 2014 promises to be an even better year. I'm starting the year off by showing a few mini albums that I created the past couple of weeks.
This mini album was created for a friend's birthday. I used the tutorial Mini Treasures from Kathy Orta-Files' book Interactive Mini Scrapbooks. This book has some great albums for all levels. I used a variety of papers to create this album.
This book measures 6 x 9 and can hold several different sizes of photos along with journal spots. You can put this together in one afternoon. Great for gifts.

Coffee Sleeve Mini Album
Hi everyone. It's been a while, but I'm back and I have a cute mini album to share with you.
This mini album is made from scraps of pattern paper, ribbons, fibers and coffee sleeves. You know the little wrapper you get when you order a cup of Java.
Well I had a supply if them and I just couldn't throw them away. Sooo, I decided to make an album out if it. I think it turned out really nice.
There are six sleeves that make up this album. The album measures 5 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches high. I've added top loading tags that measures 4 1/4 inches wide by 2 inches high. Small tags measure 1 3/4 inches x 2 3/4 inches.
The tags can be used for small photos or to journal those fun memories.
Lots of fun ribbons and fibers are tied to the binding ring.
This is really easy to make. It can be done in a couple of hours. The papers I used were from an older paper pack from DCWV.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
I hope everyone had a fabulous 2012 and will have an even better 2013. As I look back and reflect on 2012, I realize I had many more "Ups" than "Downs" which is great. I don't make resolutions, because for some reason, they are very easy to break. Instead, I choose to set goals. My main goal is to "Do Better" in all aspects of life.
One of my goals is to do better on my blog. I have had a tendency to neglect it and I really want to post more. I have lots of exciting ideas and projects that I want to share with you, so please check back often for my posts.

Holly Jolly Blog Hop
Hi Everyone... Welcome to the Holly Jolly Blog Hop. This hop is hosted by Kristen of Fantabulously Pink. We have a full line-up of talented paper crafters. Make sure you visit everyone's blog for lots of fun. If you arrived from Christine's site site, you're in the right place.
For my project I made a Matchbook Paperbag Mini Album. It is a fun and easy project to put together. It can be done in a few hours and it will look like you spent a great deal of time on it. I got the inspiration from Kathy Orta. she made one last year and I had bought the paper pack. I had too many projects to do then, however I found the time this year.
The cover of the album resembles a book of matches. Inside are 6 pages made out of the paperbags from Michaels. Inside each page is a pocket on the top which holds a large tag. you can use any page or tag to add photos or journaling.
