Gypsy Update Blog Hop (Smiley Cards)

Welcome to my blog! I was fortunate to be one of the Cricut Circle Members chosen to get the Gypsy Promo update early. For those of you who don't know, Provo Craft is letting everyone who owns and registers their Gypsy receive six cartridges absolutely free. In this update it includes one of their newest digital cartridges that is exclusive to the Gypsy, Smiley Cards. Everyone has until October 31, 2010 to register their Gypsy to be eligible to receive the update scheduled for Nov. 1.

A couple of other ladies and I who were able to receive the update decided to do a blog hop. It's just to let you see what kind of things you can do with it. The images are so adorable, and the layering is simple and easy to do.

To start at the beginning click HERE at Crazy About Cricut's site and follow the blog trail. You should have arrived from Cara's blog. If you get lost, here are the links to everyone participating in the hop.

The first card is a shaped card I made using the candy corn shape and welding the two together. I also used the card feature to make a quick envelope.

The second card is a circle card also cut out using the card feature. I then used one of the happy face emoticons. The balloons and phrases are also a part of the creative features.

Now for some blog candy. Simply leave me a comment and I will let random.org chose a winner on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010. I would also love it if you became a follower to my blog.

I am giving away a five piece sampler of my Soy Donut Melts. Each will come individually wrapped. These are wax tarts that can be used in a tart warmer or burner. The scents include: Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Spiced Cranberry, Cinnamon Sticks, and Peppermint Bark.

Cricut Smiley Cards
