Today's project doesn't involve any paper crafting. I used a pattern that I loved to create this Autumn Leaves Tissue Box Holder. I stitched the box using 7-mesh Plastic Canvas. The background is a tan color while the leaves are stitched in brown, green and orange. The same pattern is stitched on all four sides. This is a super easy and fast project to put together.
Just in case you get lost along the way, here is the line-up...
Now for my blog candy. Since Autumn is fast approaching and October will be her before you know it. I decided that as a giveaway, I will give one lucky follower the Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge. All you have to do is become a follower and leave me a comment below. This is a two (2) day hop, so be sure to check out yesterday's project and leave a comment for another chance to win. I will choose a winner on Tuesday, September 13, 2011.
Did you check out the Festive Friday post for a chance to win a set of Anna Griffin stamps? If not, scroll down to view the project. I will be announcing a winner for the stamp set on Monday.

I just love this. The leaves are great. This is one craft that I haven't gotten into and I'm surprised because... I've tried just about everything else... May need to try this because like everyone I've got tissue boxes all around the house.

ReplyDeleteYour project brings back good memories. My grandmother and I use to make these when I was a child. Grandma Purdy passed away the summer before my 8th grade year. That would be 29 years ago.
